Beethoven鈥檚 Symphony No. 7 pulses with life - rhythmic, bold, and emotionally unbound. In this program, his spirit resonates through the works of 20th-century Romantic voices: Vaughan Williams鈥 nostalgic English Folk Song Suite, Corigliano鈥檚 poignant Elegy, and Walton鈥檚 majestic Crown Imperial and deeply expressive Viola Concerto, featuring 2025 LRSO concerto competition winner Hana Jang.
Though separated by a century, these composers share Beethoven鈥檚 passion for drama, beauty, and musical storytelling.
