IDEA Ambassadors
This is a paid leadership program for undergraduate students. Students hold office hours at the IDEA Center and plan engaging events. Each semester between 5-10 students are selected to participate in the program.
Multicultural Fair
The Multicultural Fair is an annual celebration of the diversity of student culture at PSU. Students are invited to host tables on the cultures they represent. The event includes food, drinks, and t-shirts for participants.
Student Affinity Organizations
We have a number of student affinity organizations for students to get involved with.
Brave Space
Brave Space is a faculty and staff professional development opportunity facilitated by the IDEA Center. Brave Space encourages bridge-building and intergroup dialogue. Brave Space cohorts are offered each academic term.
Employee Affinity Groups
The IDEA Center facilitates various employee resource groups that foster community and well-being for faculty and staff.

Heritage Month Programs
The IDEA Center celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, International Day of People with Disabilities, Native American Heritage Month, and Women鈥檚 Herstory Month through a variety of programs that provide educational awareness and foster community growth.
Excellence in IDEA Awards and Graduation Ceremony
Each year the IDEA Center hosts an annual awards and graduation ceremony. Faculty, staff, and students award winners are recognized and provided scholarships and professional development funds and all graduating students from diverse backgrounds are recognized.
