Crossroads: Change in Rural America and The White Mountains: A Crossroads
Dates: May 31 - September 13, 2025

The Museum of the White Mountains at 橙子视频app was selected by New Hampshire Humanities as one of three host sites in the state for the Smithsonian鈥檚 Museum on Main Street exhibition, Crossroads: Change in Rural America. This exhibition explores pressing questions for rural communities: What does 鈥渞ural America鈥 mean? What makes these places unique? How do we identify with them? How have rural communities and small towns evolved and changed?

The White Mountains: A Crossroads explores the same themes of land, community, identity, persistence, and managing change in the context of the western White Mountains. We are doing this in partnership with the historical societies and public libraries in Plymouth, Franconia, Lincoln, Woodstock, and Bethlehem. Using the buildings (a courthouse, a church, a caf茅/store, and a farmhouse) where each group is housed as focal points, the exhibition explores how these five communities developed and continue to evolve.

Reunion Update Form - What Have You Been Up To?

Please use the space above to update us on what you’ve been up to since your last Reunion. If this is your first Reunion, a summary of what you’ve been up to since graduation would be very welcome. Updates are appreciated, especially if you’re not able to attend in person. As a guide to writing your update, think about career or retirement updates, awards/honors received, family updates, hobbies, travel/adventures, etc. Please keep your updates to 5-6 sentences (maximum) and write it in the 3rd person. An example pulled from the Plymouth Magazine Winter 2022 edition: “Mary (McMullen) Thompson ’75 majored in elementary education and was part of Delta Zeta, Plymouth Players, Polyphonic Choir, and Percussion Ensemble. After graduating she was an elementary school teacher and married David G. Thompson ’77. The Thompsons have been married for 43 years, have five grandchildren, and are enjoying retirement in Harrisville, NH.”
